Teenagers look back at Katrina

Teenagers wrote their memoirs of their experiences with Katrina.

I would like my students to blog with an author. A good possibility would be Catherine Gildiner, who is very accessible, and could answer questions about Too Close to the Falls. In Autobiography, as opposed to other courses I've taught, most of the authors are still alive. We could try Tobias Wolff, Frank McCourt, Stephen King, Mary Karr, Julia Alvarez, etc.
